How to Find Bulb Size
Determining the appropriate bulb size for your car is crucial before purchasing LED headlight bulbs. To check your headlight bulb model, you can:
- Consult Your Owner’s Manual: The manual usually specifies the bulb type for your vehicle.
- Inspect the Bulb: Remove the existing bulb from the socket and look for markings on the base. These often indicate the model number (like H11, 9005, etc.).
- Use Boslla Bulb Finder by searching vehicle year, make, and model.

LED Chip Orientation Guide
To achieve optimal lighting output and beam pattern, position the LED bulbs with the chips oriented side-to-side. Arrange one set of LEDs facing 3 o’clock and the other set facing 9 o’clock. This configuration ensures a balanced 360° light distribution, creating an even beam and uniformly illuminating the housing.



LED Bulb Troubleshooting Guide
Problem | Solution |
---|---|
Do Not Turn On When Install | 1. Check if the power connectors are properly connected, and make sure that the vehicle headlight switch is in the “ON” position. 2. Make sure that the vehicle’s battery is fully charged to supply power to the LED bulb. 3. Some bulb sizes (like H1, H3, H7, H11, 9005, 9006, 9012, etc.) are polarity sensitive. If the LED bulbs do not function properly after installation, please reverse the plug male connector 180 degrees and try again. |
LED Bulbs Are Flickering When Install | Install the LED bulb with an Anti-Flicker capacitor/resistor. |
DRLs is Flickering | High beam and DRL share the same bulbs and DRLs work with lower power. Change light settings from automatic to manual or disable DRLs. |
Dashboard Warning Lamp | This is a harmless side effect of the low-wattage LED bulbs not being recognized by the vehicle’s system, and it can be resolved by installing an additional set of resistors (CANbus). |
Bad Light Pattern/Glare | Check whether the bulb is rotated in the correct direction and locked in place. The LED chips should face 3-9 o’clock and the wire harness should be down to 6 o’clock. |
Flickering Suddenly After Working For A While | 1. Check if the battery is sufficient, otherwise, replace it with a new battery. 2. Replace the dust cover with more space for heat dissipation. |
Dust Cover Can Not Be Installed Back | Some rubber dust covers do not have space for the wiring of the LED bulbs so you may need to do a little modification. Drill a hole in the cover, get the wire from the LED bulb outside of the headlight assembly, then seal the hole well to ensure the bulbs stay water and dustproof. A larger dust cover is better. |
The LED Bulbs Are Loose and Cannot Be Fixed | Please forcefully push the LED bulbs into the light housing and then rotate it clockwise. Please note that the chips need to face left and right. |
Bulb Not Working/Burn Out/Turn Dim | 1. Make sure the connection is good. 2. Swap the LED bulbs to the other side. If the problem is still, you probably have a bad bulb. |

- For returns due to personal reasons (e.g., dislike, wrong size), customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Shipping Payment Options
- Customers may arrange their return shipping or use our provided logistics service (shipping costs to be paid by the customer).
3. Exchange Process
- Request a Return/Exchange
- Please contact our customer service team to obtain a return/exchange authorization and address.
- Ensure the item is securely packaged and include the order number for faster processing.
- Ship the Item Back
- Return the item to the provided address and keep the tracking number for reference.
- Replacement Shipment
- The replacement item will be shipped within 3 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

- A 10%-20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund to cover inspection and restocking costs.
