LED Headlight Bulbs Installation Steps

To begin the installation, you will need a few basic tools. These include a pair of gloves, a flathead screwdriver, and pliers. It is advisable to wear gloves throughout the installation process to protect your hands from potential burns or injuries.

For H10, H11, 9005, 9006, 9012, 5202, 880 Bulbs Size

For H1, H3, H4, H7, H13, 9004, 9007 Bulb Size

1. Firstly, open the hood of your vehicle and locate the existing headlight bulb. This can usually be found behind the headlight assembly. Before removing the bulb, make sure to disconnect the vehicle’s battery to avoid any electrical mishaps. To disconnect the battery, remove the negative terminal using the pliers.
2. Once the battery is disconnected, you can proceed with removing the existing headlight bulb. Gently twist the bulb counterclockwise to release it from the socket. Be cautious not to apply too much force, as this can cause damage. It may be necessary to use the flathead screwdriver to carefully pry the bulb loose if it is stuck.
3. After the old bulb has been removed, take the new LED headlight bulb and insert it into the socket. Again, make sure to twist it clockwise until it is securely in place. Be mindful not to touch the bulb with bare hands, as this can shorten its lifespan or cause it to malfunction. If you accidentally touch the bulb, clean it with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth before proceeding.
4. With the new LED headlight bulb properly in place, you can now reconnect the vehicle’s battery. Reattach the negative terminal and secure it with the pliers. Ensure a snug and secure connection to avoid any electrical problems.
5. Lastly, before closing the vehicle’s hood, test the newly installed LED headlight bulb to ensure it is functioning correctly. Turn on your vehicle’s headlights and check both high and low beam settings. If the light emits a strong and clear beam, congratulations, you have successfully installed your LED headlight bulb!
